Hi Lisa,
It’s been great following you on your travels via your website.
Your itinerary says you should be in Dubai at the moment. I spent a week in Dubai in 2004 and absolutely loved it.
Definitely try to get to Wild Wadi water park and the Gold Markets. I also managed to get a guided tour of the Burj hotel. I paid AU$16 for a hot chocolate at the cafe downstairs but it was worth it!!
I’m well and truly settled back in at home. Cycling around Vietnam inspired me to get back onto my road bike. So much so that I bought a new bike the day after I got home!
I’ve been out riding a bit with Aileen but haven’t caught up with Donna since arriving home.
Continue having a fantastic time. I’m currently suffering through a self-imposed 12mth ban on overseas travel so I’m getting my ‘fix’ through reading your blogs.
Stay safe,
Sally.

Hi Lisa, remember me ? I was the soundman in Montreal in june 2006. I’ve been following your trip once in a while. I’m jalous, this is such a trip of a lifetime. Your pictures are amazing, this is often my deception : people don’t how to take good picture. You do very well. This is not very exotic, but if ever you pass by (or you make a detour) you’re welcome near Quebec City to my place next to the St-Laurence river. ciao

Hi Lisa,
We are seeking people to join us or give advice for us.
We want your sunrise! And we want you to join us to broadcast a never ending sun. Live!
The idea comes from one of our stupid thought: Why can’t we keep a gorgeous moment that will never end?
This is a dream which needs people all around the world to achieve. We want people from different time zones to shoot the sunrises in their local places.
Our optimistic outcome is installing 24 screens to display sunrises around the Earth. The Sun will keep rising from screen to screen, from bottom to top vertically. This ‘never ending sun’ will last for 24 hours in a day!
In fact there are still many problems to solve, it’s been a tough way so far. Therefore we are in need of supports. Your help will be most appreciated no matter in what aspects. It could be supporting us technically, joining us, spreading it out, giving us suggestions or anything else you could think of. You name it, we do it.

Hi Lisa,
Hope you remember old teachers from Fernbrook School. I read about your adventures on the Daily Record web page and had to drop you a lline. What an exciting time for you. By the way, don’t skip Croatia, especially the island of Krk and the little town of Njivice, my wife’s Mom’s home town. We visited last year and had a ball.
Give my best to David and your Dad. We live in Virginia now and my kids are here too. We do miss Italian bread. The natives just don’t get it!
Love,
“Mr. Z”

Lisa, Lisa:
You have to go to France before leaving Europe… e-mail me for tips and contacts. Have changed jobs since you left the States, and am looking forward to you practicing your French again ;-). I loved reading the reports of your peregrinations, am in fact a bit jealous.
Cheers!
